Ruth Salvaggio (Professor of English and American Studies, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill) will lecture on "Trash, Old Women, Angels, Poems: Promising Figures for Disaster Poetics."  This event is free and open to the public. Dr. Salvaggio's recent book will also be available for purchase.
