Event Description

The Language, Literacy & Sociocultural Studies Graduate Student Association (LLSS GSA) Presents the 2013 Critical Theory, Activism and Social Transformation Lecture Series. The 2013 Spring Lecture Series will focus on Critical Theory and Social Transformation. Speakers will engage in dialogue that will challenge scholars, educators, and policy- makers to think critically about issues of power, privilege, and social transformation in multiple domains (education, health policy, counseling, communication, etc.).
Lecture,  
"Liberalizing Illiberal Liberalism" with Charles Mills, co-keynote speaker at Northwestern University.
